Marymount Women's Lacrosse Camps

Kate Athing

Head Coach

Kate Athing enters her first season as the head womens lacrosse coach at Marymount University for the 2014-15 season. She is the sixth head coach in program history.

Athing previously spent the past four seasons as an assistant coach with the Saints. She replaces Jamie Reynolds, who was recently promoted to Associate Director of Athletics/Director of Athletics Advancement.

“Kate was the perfect choice as our next head womens lacrosse coach,” Warren said. “She was an instrumental part in the programs success over the past four years and will continue to develop Marymount womens lacrosse in years to come.”

With Athing on the sidelines, she helped transition a team that went 3-11 the year before she arrived to an 8-8 record in 2014 – its best season since 2008. A total of eight Saints garnered All-CAC honors including 2011 CAC Rookie of the Year Megan McGuirk.
