Are any of the camps overnight camps?

No, all our WKU Volleyball Camps are day camps so no overnight accommodations are provided.

What should I bring/wear to camp?

We suggest you wear a t-shirt, shorts, athletic shoes and volleyball knee pads are highly recommended but not required. You may bring your own water bottle although water jugs are provided but no other outside food or drink will be permitted.

What meals are provided?

The Lady Topper All Skills Camp and Elite Camp and the Lady Topper Team Camp are provided lunch only and the cost is included in your camp fee. NO meals are provided during the Lil Volley Topper Camp.

I registered for camp, will I receive any further information?

Yes, if you provided an email address upon registration, you will get an informational email the week before camp with information about check-in, directions, parking, etc. (For team camp, the informational email will go to your coach.) If you do not receive an email by the Friday of the week before camp begins, please email Kristi at kristi.griffin@wku.edu

Should I sign up for the All Skills Camp or Elite Camp?

All Skills camp is designed for those who may not have a lot of volleyball experience and need more basic training in each skill. Usually All Skills camp is comprised of mostly junior high level players or high school players who are relatively new to the game. Elite camp is designed for those who have travel team experience or who have been playing volleyball for 3 or more years. The same skills that are covered in All Skills camp are trained in Elite Camp, but at a higher level and at a faster pace. In both camps, players will be grouped accordingly to skill level to ensure they get the appropriate instruction and the best camp experience possible.
