WKU competes on a national stage in NCAA Division I Athletics.  Specifically, the WKU Soccer program boasts 15 of 17 winning seasons, 3 conference championship appearances, 2 conference championships, 5 conference players of the year, 3 coaches of the year, and 2 professional players.  Academically, the program claims 9 academic performance titles, 7 Academic All-Americans, 6 WKU scholar-athletes of the year, and a 3.6 cumulative Team GPA.

Welcome to Hilltopper Soccer Academy! Our camps and clinics focus on the development and improvement of your skills as a soccer player. Our camps are highly instructional and will serve all ages and skill sets. Thank you for your interest in Hilltopper Soccer Academy and we look forward to working with you!

 

Our girls and boys soccer camps range in age and we should have a program to fit your needs. Each of our camp sessions are open to any and all individuals restricted only by age and gender. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time please check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

 

Our soccer camps and prospect events in Bowling Green are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by our college staff here at WKU.

Description

This is a great camp for aspiring goalkeepers and ALL field players who want to improve their overall soccer techniques. Our staff-to-player ratio of 5-to-1, one of the lowest in the camp industry, will ensure that each player receives valuable personalized instruction.

 

The focus at the Individual & Goalkeeper Camp will be on advanced training and small-sided games to improve the technical aspects of your play. Goalkeepers will experience advanced individual training to improve footwork, angles, shot-stopping ability, diving, distribution, and defensive organization.

 

Additional activities may include sessions on team-building, leadership, strength & conditioning, injury prevention, soccer nutrition, college recruiting, or panels about college life.

Current pricing already reflects the early-bird discount which is valid until 6/4/2018. HSA offers 2 discounts on our camps in addition to the early-bird registration. We offer a sibling discount of $40 off per camper or a multi-camp discount of $100 for participants registered in both the Elite and Team camps. You may apply only ONE of these discounts. Camp Check-In

Registration for the Elite Individual & Goalkeeper Camp will take place between 12:00 and 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 8th at a residence hall to be announced. As a reminder, WKU is on Central Standard Time.  A campus map can be found at http://www.wku.edu/campusmap.php. You will receive an email about 5 days before camp with all of your detailed registration information.

 

Facilities
Training facilities include the homes of the Hilltopper Football and Soccer programs - Houchen's Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium and the cozy 800-seat WKU Soccer Complex. Conveniently located right in the middle of campus, the DSU South Lawn will also be utilized for the camp. Indoor facilities across campus will be available in the event of inclement weather.

 

Academy Staff
HSA carefully selects instructors based on their knowledge, expertise, and passion for the game. We have assembled an outstanding staff of college coaches from across the country. Current and former WKU soccer players will serve as assistant coaches, group leaders and mentors. Certified athletic trainers and staff will be available to campers 24 hours a day.

 

Medical Staff
Medical staff will be on hand to care for any situation that might arise during camp. In the event of injury, a Certified Athletic Trainer will assess on-site and determine the appropriate care. If additional care is needed (emergency care, x-ray, etc.), your child will be taken to the nearest facility, and you will be notified as soon as possible.

 

Refund/Cancellation Policy 
We offer Cancellation Protection for an additional $30 fee per camper to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. Due at the time of registration in addition to any deposit, Cancellation Protection covers you for a full refund of your base registration fee should you cancel 10 or more days prior to the start of camp. If you cancel within 10 days, the Cancellation Protection entitles you to a transferable camp credit that is valid for up to 2 years from your original camp date.

 

We strongly encourage the purchase of Cancellation Protection. If you are NOT covered by our Cancellation Protection, all cancellations will incur a processing fee of $100 except Half Day Camp participants who will be refunded half of their registration fee. Camp refunds will be processed at the end of the camp season in August.

 

What to bring
Please remember to pack a soccer ball, soccer shoes, shin guards, casual shoes, flat-soled shoes for indoor use, sunscreen, warm-up/rain suit, and a water bottle. Overnight campers will also need plenty of practice gear and socks, a pillow, twin-sized bed linens/blanket, towels, toiletries, alarm clock, and laundry bag. Please clearly label your personal items.

Description

This one-day camp focused exclusively on competition is designed to prepare high school and club teams and individual players for the upcoming season. The camp day consists of small-sided 7v7 tournaments in a fast-paced championship format. Teams will play a minimum of 4 games and will be grouped based on age and ability in order to provide the most competitive environment. Teams must have a minimum of 9 players, who each must register for the tournament individually through our online system. All participants registered for our Elite Camp (July 8-10) or Team Camp (July 10-14) are automatically registered for this great event as a free add-on to their camp experience.

 

General Information

Discounts: There are no discounts for this camp. Players registered for the Elite or Team Camp also get the Competition Camp for no additional charge.

What to bring
Each team must provide five quality game balls inflated to the proper level. Teams must also have a light and dark jersey. Individual campers should have soccer shoes, shin guards, casual shoes, sunscreen, warm-up/rain suit, and a water bottle. Please clearly label your personal items.

 

Facilities: This camp will take place in the heart of the WKU campus utilizing Smith Stadium, the DSU South Lawn, and the WKU Soccer Complex.

 

Academy Staff: HSA staff will be on hand to coordinate and supervisor the competitions. Certified athletic trainers will be on-site for the duration of the camp.

Description

This camp is designed to prepare high school and club teams and individual players for the upcoming season. HSA staff coaches will work personally with each coach to implement tactics that highlight team strengths. Players will improve field awareness through a series of instructional sessions designed to develop skills, as well as a better understanding of the game. Goalkeepers will receive individual instruction from our qualified goalkeeper staff. Each team will compete in a championship tournament, and independent campers will join an appropriate team based on age and ability. Additional activities may include team-building, leadership lectures, strength & conditioning, injury prevention, soccer nutrition, college recruiting discussion, or panels about college life. HSA will provide room & board, free of charge, for a coach or manager from each team.

 

Payments:  If paying a deposit ONLY, the balance is due at camp check in on Tuesday, July 10th.  Only cash or checks will be accepted.

This day camp (8:30 am until 11:30 am) is designed for both boys and girls of all abilities. Campers are grouped by age and skill level. Daily activities include instructional practices and games in a fun and challenging environment with emphasis on individual soccer technique, team-building, and sportsmanship values. HSA's experienced staff are all positive role models with a contagious passion for the game.

 

DISCOUNTS
Online pricing reflects the early registration discount which is valid until 6/4/2018. All other Hilltopper Soccer Academy discounts are NOT available for this particular camp. Our sibling and multi-camp discounts exclude the Half Day Camp.

Registration for the Half Day Camp will be on Monday, July 23rd at the WKU Soccer Complex between 8:00-8:30 a.m. The WKU Soccer Complex is the home stadium of the WKU Soccer Team and is located at 1797 Creason Street behind the softball stadium. Day camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each morning. Please feel free to drop your child off for the morning or stay to watch!
