Welcome to the Cardinal Field Hockey Camps at Wesleyan University. We are committed to providing a camp that is both instructional and informational along with creating a great atmosphere to learn! The coaching staff at Wesleyan University is dedicated to the development and growth of Field Hockey athletes of all ages and skill levels. We are committed to providing a positive and instrumental learning experience for our camp.

This winter clinic series will focus on field hockey skill development, playing tactics, games and more!

Check In

Check in will be in the lobby of the Freeman Athletic Center at 5:45pm each night. Parking is available on the street in front of the athletic center, in the parking lot across the street, or the parking lot behind the athletic center (first right past the fire department).

Food will not be provided

Accommodations

This is not a residential camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.

 

Refund Policy

No shows = no refunds. ?Must cancel within 5 days for a refund because planning happens the week in advance based on numbers and positions. Emergency situations will be considered for refund.

Description

Our spring prospect clinic is intended to give high school athletes interested in competing at the college level the opportunity to learn and showcase skills, fundamentals and game concepts. The day begins with a college practice experience that includes stations, drills and small-sided play and ends with the opportunity to showcase those skills in half field and full field scrimmages. At the end, participants and their parents will have the opportunity to partake in a Q+A panel with current student-athletes and coaches. Participants will be coached by the Wesleyan University Field Hockey staff and current team members.

 

A Wesleyan Field Hockey T-Shirt will be given to all participants!
