The main objective of our camp is to teach gymnastics using the most current techniques and proper progressions in an environment of positive reinforcement and fun.The instructional range covers those young athletes with little or no experience to competitive gymnasts of all levels; Ages 7-18.

 

Day one of the camp includes a quick evaluation to place individuals into groups with similar abilities. We want to ensure that the GymDawgs Camp experience is the best ever! Let the Fun Begin…

Description

Calling all little GymDawgs to the University of Washington Gymnastics kids clinic! The Clinic will be held from 9-10am, Saturday, June 1st. Sign up for a chance to work in the practice facility with the Washington GymDawgs and coaching staff.

 

The clinic will include skill training on all 4 events and a Q & A session. Little GymDawgs will have a chance to see a glimpse of what collegiate gymnastics looks like. The clinic is open to all kids 6th grade and under on a first come, first serve basis so hurry and sign up your little GymDawgs!

 

There will be a MAX of 10 participants for this clinic

 

Cost: $50.00

Rotations will consist of vault, bars, beam, tumbling, tumble track, and dance. In addition, we will have one hour afternoon activities such as canoeing, bowling and more!

Our instructors will include members of the University of Washington Gymnastics Team and Coaching Staff!

 

Location and Facilities
Campers will train in the University of Washington Gymnastics training facility, which is located in Alaska Airlines Arena. The GymDawgs facility boasts loose foam and resi pits as well as state of the art video review systems on each apparatus.

 

What to bring
Please refer to your welcome packet found with in your email confirmation once you have registered. 

 

Leotard Information

GymDawgs Camp leotards will be available for purchase throughout camp.

 

Refund Policy
A full refund (less $25.00 processing fee) may be received upon notification no later than 7 days prior to the beginning of each session. There will be no refunds honored 7 days or less prior to the first day of camp.

 

Check-in

Drop off times will be from 8:45 to 9:00 am. Please have campers picked up promptly at 4:00 pm.
