20 Athletes named to the 2011 WAC All Academic Team

RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada athletics department landed 20 of its student-athletics on the 2011 All-WAC Academic teams for the the fall sports. The teams were announced Tuesday by the Western Athletic Conference. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.

Nevada's volleyball team was represented by six players: Grace Anxo; Sofia Anxo; Kelly Chang; Erin Garvey; Elissa Ji and Tatiana Santiago.

Nevada Volleyball Camps and Clinics

Nevada Volleyball Camps at The University of Nevada, Reno offer an opportunity for players to receive valuable instruction on the fundamental skills of volleyball. Campers will be made aware of the characteristics that define successful volleyball players.

The Nevada Volleyball Camps are taught by the coaching staff, top youth coaches and the Nevada volleyball players. These camps are perfect for kids who are involved in organized volleyball (or those looking to join organized volleyball) and are looking to improve their skills.
