Women's Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award
The UMBC women's soccer team was honored with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the 2010-11 school year, the organization announced last week.
To be eligible for the award, a team must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. The Retrievers posted a 3.14 GPA for the last academic year.
A total of 790 soccer teams (210 men, 571 women) received the NSCAA Team Academic Award.

Retriever Soccer Camps are held on the UMBC Campus in Catonsville, Maryland. Our camps are staffed by UMBC coaches and players. The camp staff prides itself in hands-on instruction and making the Retriever Soccer Camps experience enjoyable and rewarding for all involved. Retriever Soccer Camps are open to any and all participants.
Camp Funds support UMBC Women's Soccer and the UMBC Women's Soccer Foundation.
