Tufts University Football Clinic

The Charlotte 49ers basketball camp is designed for players to develop their skills in a fun, unique setting. The Charlotte coaches and current and former college players will be on hand to demonstrate and instruct all campers reach their potential on the basketball court. We hope you will join us this summer at Halton Arena!

Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by age, grade level and/or gender). NCAA rules prohibit free/reduced camp admission for prospect-aged individuals.

The Tufts University Football Clinic is run by the Tufts Football coaching staff. All student-athletes will receive one on one instruction from their Tufts respective position coach.
The camp will be held at Bello Field, 163 College Ave, Medford, MA 02155
We do not take deposits for the clinic. Payment in full is due at the time of registration.
Online registration for the clinic will close 48 hours prior to the start of the clinic.
We do accept walkup registrants, but there is an additional administrative fee of $25.00 so it is encouraged to register online.
All student-athletes should bring a helmet, cleats, sneakers, t-shirt, shorts, and sunscreen. QBs are encouraged to bring a football for warm-up purposes, but it is not required as we will be using Tufts Footballs in all of our drill work. Helmets will not be available to rent.
Yes. We encourage parents to attend if convenient. Due to insurance reasons, it is mandatory that all non-participants at the clinic remain in the stands so that no needless accidents occur.
3 hour clinic session, design to help build fundamentals, evaluate, compete, and get coached by Tufts Coaches.

Yes. Fully qualified medical personnel will be on site. In the event of a more serious injury, there are major hospitals located within 5 miles of Tufts University.

​Safety is our #1 priority. In the event of severe weather (lightning/torrential rains), we must remain indoors until it passes. Therefore, be sure to bring sneakers with you for an indoor surface in case we have to move indoors.

Directions

Bello Field: 163 College Ave: Medford MA 02155

 

From the southwest, west, or northwest via Routes 2, 3, 9 Interstate 95, or the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90), the easiest approach to the campus is to turn from any of these routes onto the circumferential Route 128 (Interstate 95) and proceed to its intersection with Route 2 (exit 29A). Proceed east on Route 2 to the junction of Routes 2 and 16 and turn onto Route 16 east (Alewife Brook Parkway). Follow Route 16 through two full traffic lights. Take the next right, a sharp turn, onto Powderhouse Boulevard. Proceed to Powderhouse Rotary. Go around the rotary and up College Avenue. The field area is surrounded by a chain link fence. Look for the opening to to the parking lot/fields on your left.

 

From Boston, the south, & the South Shore, follow the Southeast Expressway (Route 3 North) to Interstate 93 north to exit 32, Medford Square. Follow the exit ramp to Medford Square. At the blinker at the end of the ramp, turn left onto Main Street. *Follow Main Street for approximately 3/10 of a mile, keeping to the right of the Mobil gas station (Dunkin Donuts will be on your left after the Mobil). Continue on Main Street until you get to the intersection of Harvard Street and Main Street (first set of lights). Take a right onto Harvard Street and follow through one set of lights (St. Clement Church will be on your right). Continue straight on Harvard until you get to Powderhouse Rotary (a few blocks from the church). You then take a sharp right onto College Avenue. The field area is surrounded by a chain link fence. Look for the opening to the parking lot/field on your left.

 

From the north via Routes 1, 3, 128, Interstates 95 or 93, the recommended approach is via the circumferential Route 128 (Interstate 95) to its intersection with Interstate 93. Go south on Interstate 93 to exit 32, Medford Square. Proceed to the center of the square, turn left onto Main Street, and refer to the directions in the preceding paragraph.
