Dianne Matias

Head Coach

Dianne Matias was named head womens tennis coach at Cal State Fullerton, it was announced by Director of Athletics Jim Donovan on August 15, 2013.

Now entering her fourth year with the program, Matias was voted the 2016 Big West Conference Coach of the Year after leading the Titans to their best season in program history.

In three short years, the Titans have amassed an overall record of 35-33 (.515), while her student-athletes garnered nine Big West Conference end-of-season awards, six Big West Player of the Week accolades and 11 Big West All-Academic honors.


Ellie Edles

Assistant Coach

Orange County native Ellie Edles has returned to Southern California to join the Cal State Fullerton womens tennis program as an assistant coach for the 2016-17 season.

Edles spent the 2015-16 season as an assistant coach at Middlebury College in Vermont leading the Panthers to a 16-5 record and a trip to the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Tournament. Prior to heading to the East Coast, she also served as an assistant coach at Cal Poly for the 2013-14 season.

Edles assists with the daily operations of the program such as organizing and conducting practices, and helping recruit quality Division I student-athletes.
