Colorado College Soccer Mens ID Camp

The Colorado College men's soccer identification camp is designed to provide prospective student-athletes the opportunity to play in front of the men's soccer staff and offer serious candidates a hands-on campus experience.


In addition to a training session and full/small-sided games, campers will take a campus tour, attend an admissions information session, enjoy a meal in our outstanding dining hall, tour our sparkling new athletics complex, and participate in a Q&A session with the coaching staff and current players.


With picturesque Pikes Peak in the background, players will be put through a typical Colorado College training session and will be assessed by the men's soccer staff. Sessions will be directed by Head Coach Scott Palguta. Palguta brings a wealth of professional and Division I playing experience to CC. A former Major League Soccer player and Cornell University graduate, Coach Palguta recently completed his third year at the helm of the CC men's soccer program. Prior to joining CC for the 2013 season as an assistant coach, Palguta played four seasons as a defender with the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. He signed with Colorado in 2009 and was part of the 2010 team that won the MLS Cup. Under Palguta's guidance the Tigers have been ranked as high as #14 nationally and have compiled a 41-10-9 record (.758 win percentage).  Palguta has coached 5 USC All-Americans and 8 Academic All-Americans in his short time at CC.


General Information

AgesOpen to current 9-12th grade boys. We will cap the number of participants at 32.  This will allow for a functional player-to-coach ratio. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

What to Bring: Cleats (turf surface), water bottle, soccer ball (optional), shin guards, running shoes, indoor shoes*


* Weather permitting, camp will take place outside. In the case of inclement weather, we will move inside on a gym surface.

Take I-25 to exit 143. Go east on Uintah Street and proceed up the hill about a quarter mile to Cascade Ave. Turn right (south) on Cascade Ave.  At your first traffic light turn right (west) onto Cache La Poudre St.  Proceed down the hill to the El Pomar Sports Center, the third and final building on the right.


Parking Information

Parking is on the street and very limited near the facility. Additional parking is available on Dale Street to the south or in Monument Valley Park across the creek to the west. Access Washburn Field by walking past the El Pomar Sports Center on the west side (along the tennis courts).



Lunch is included in the price of camp and will be eaten at Rastall Dining Hall in the Worner Campus Center.



This is not an overnight camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.
