Open to: Current 9-12th Grade Boys | Starts: 9:00am / Ends: 5:00pm
The Colorado College men's soccer identification camp is designed to provide prospective student-athletes the opportunity to play in front of the men's soccer coaching staff and offer serious candidates a hands-on campus experience.
In addition to training sessions and full/small-sided games, campers will take a campus tour, attend an admissions information session, and enjoy a meal in our outstanding dining hall. Campers will also tour our recently renovated athletics complex and participate in an in-depth recruiting seminar with the coaching staff and current players.
With picturesque Pikes Peak in the background, players will be put through a typical Colorado College training session and will be assessed by the men's soccer staff. All sessions will take place on the newly renovated Stewart Field and will be directed by Head Coach Scott Palguta.
Palguta brings a wealth of professional and Division I playing experience to CC. A former Major League Soccer player and Cornell University graduate, Coach Palguta recently completed his fifth year at the helm of the CC men's soccer program. The 2019 squad won the SCAC regular season title and returned to the NCAA tournament for the 20th time in program history. Under Palguta's guidance the Tigers have been ranked as high as #14 nationally and have compiled a 68-23-10 record (.723 win percentage). Palguta has coached six United Soccer Coaches All-Americans and nine Academic All-Americans in his short time at CC.
Prior to joining CC for the 2013 season as an assistant coach, Palguta played four seasons as a defender with the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. He signed with Colorado in 2009 and was part of the 2010 team that won the MLS Cup.
