Tiger Football Camps And Events

Welcome to the Savannah State University Tigers 2023 football camps! We are thrilled to host three exciting camps that cater to young football enthusiasts who aspire to improve their skills, learn new techniques, and showcase their talent to college coaches.

Our first camp is the “Friday Night Lights with Coach Aaron Kelton.” This camp will take place under the lights, and it is designed for players of all positions and skill levels from the ages of 8-13 (Elementary to Middle School Students). Coach Kelton, who is a renowned football coach with years of experience, will provide general football instruction that includes the fundamentals of the game, such as tackling, blocking, and ball handling. He will also provide position-specific instruction that focuses on improving the skills of quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, defensive backs, and linemen.

The “Elite Prospect Camp with Coach Aaron Kelton 2023” is our second camp, and it is tailored to players who are looking to play at the college level. The camp offers elite training and coaching to players in preparation for college football. Coach Kelton will teach players advanced techniques and strategies that will help them take their game to the next level.

Our third camp is the “7v7 Football Camp.” This camp is ideal for players who want to improve their passing, receiving, and defensive skills. The camp focuses on improving players’ performance in seven-on-seven games, which require quick thinking, precise execution, and teamwork.

All of our camps include instruction in strength and conditioning. Our coaches will provide players with comprehensive training in strength, speed, agility, and flexibility. This training is designed to improve players’ physical abilities and prepare them for the rigors of competitive football.

At our camps, players will have the opportunity to display their athletic abilities to college coaches. Our camps attract coaches from all over the country, giving players the chance to make a lasting impression on coaches who could offer them a scholarship to play at the college level. Players will also participate in athletic competition and other drills used by the Savannah State University Football Program.

Our camps are staffed by the Savannah State University coaching staff and other college coaches who are dedicated to providing a fun, safe, and educational environment for players. We look forward to welcoming you to our 2023 youth football camps!

Tiger Football Camps Testimonials

Were really enjoying it. My son loves it and he is doing great. The group that he is in, is a really good group. They are feeding off each other. The coaches break everything down and when he makes a mistake, they are correcting it.

This is a real good camp. its well organized and the players get a lot of one on one time with coaching staff. Theyre getting a lot of individual coaching along with a prospect and a try out type look. I feel that my son is doing well and learning a lot.

So far I like the camp. I like the small groups. Its not an overwhelming camp where I feel like the boys are not getting enough one on one attention. Every time I look up, theres a coach helping correct some errors theyre making. Even though Im not in the midst of it, I can see that. I find that the smaller setting is a little better; more than having so many people where the coaches dont have any one on one correction time with the boys.

Kou Dorley, Loganville Ga

Son: WR, CB

I think over the course of the last two weeks weve had a great turnout for it to be our first camp. We have a lot of guys from a lot of areas with different skill levels, ages, and demographics. Its good for these kids to get on our campus and help us to grow for the future.

The Savannah State Tigers are playing their 43rd season in Theodore A. Wright Stadium. In 2011, the Tigers played their first game in newly renovated T.A.
