Camp Description

Learn from the PITT soccer program this summer!

We will teach the necessary skills and help incorporate them in making proper decisions on the field.

All sessions will be held at Ambrose Field, located at the new Petersen Sports Complex on PITT's upper campus.

Enrollment is open to any and all entrants entering grade 1 through grade 7.

Each day of camp will be from 9am-4pm. Camp counselors will accompany the players at all times.

General Information

This camp is designed to allow each player to develop their individual skill with the ball by getting hundreds of touches on the ball in activities and small-sided games. The PITT coaching staff and players will be on hand to instruct various drills and techniques for athletes of all ages and levels.

What is provided?
Each camper will receive a Pitt soccer camp T-shirt.
We will have both water and Gatorade on hand for each camper.
Size 4 or 5 Pitt Soccer Camp balls will be on sale for $30.00 each. Select this option on the registration page.

Early Registration Discount
Register before May 15, 2013 and receive $15.00 off the camp price. Enter promo code ERD on the registration page and save.

Discount for Teams of 8 or more
Register 8 or more girls from the same team and save 10% for each player. Players must be on same team. Enter promo code PTD on the registration page and save.

What to bring
Each camper must bring her own soccer equipment. Players should bring cleats, tennis shoes, sandals (optional), swimsuit, soccer ball, shin guards, soccer socks, towel, sunscreen and WATER BOTTLE. Please label all personal items.

Camp Features:

• A different technical skill theme each day including heading, dribbling, passing/receiving, and shooting.
• Swimming pool break after lunch.
• Soccer tennis and 3v3 tournaments.
• Small-sided games for maximum touches on the ball.
• Current Pitt soccer player demonstrations each morning
• Fun games that incorporate soccer skills.

Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, since this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

Camp Check-in

Camp Check-In will take place at 8:00am on the first day of camp at Peterson Sports Complex.

Parking Information

Parking is available in the OC Parking lot. Many times there is a fee for parking.

Meals

Campers should bring their own lunch and water bottle.

Miscellaneous Information

What if I have to cancel a camp?
Refunds are not given once camp begins. You will receive a refund of camp fees less a $75 administrative fee should you cancel your registration more than 10 days prior to the start of camp. If you cancel within 10 days from the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date.
