SDSU Women’s Soccer Camps

Welcome to SDSU Women’s Soccer Camps. We are committed to providing a camp experience that is both instructional and informational along with creating a great atmosphere to learn! The coaching staff at SDSU is dedicated to the development and growth of soccer players of all ages and skill levels.

SDSU Women’s Soccer Camps offer an opportunity for players to receive valuable instruction on the fundamental and advanced skills of soccer, an introduction to the tactical elements of the game, as well as exposing campers to the mental aspect of soccer. Our goal is to provide a positive and instrumental learning experience for all campers in a structured, enthusiastic and fun environment.

Description

In order to maximize your time and exposure in front of our coaching staff, we have decided to continue to use our updated format.

 

The week leading up to the camp we will assign a morning and an afternoon group.

 

On Saturday the 7th one group will train in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Each session will be the technical training and small sided games portion of our camp

 

On Sunday, the 8th you will play two 70 minute games. We will assign you a team and every team will play a morning and an afternoon game. Game times will be staggered to once again maximize exposure to our coaching staff.

July 7th:

Group 1: 9:00am - 11:30am (Technical Session and Small Sided games)

Group 2: 01:30pm-04:00pm (Technical Session and Small Sided games)

July 8th: 8:00 - 5:00pm *(Your ending time will vary depending on your team assignment and how many teams we have at camp)

 

What to bring:
Water Bottle
Soccer Clothes / White Club Soccer Uniform with a number (if possible)
Soccer shoes
Shin Guards
Sun block

 

Check-in

Group 1 Register between 8:00 am and 8:30 am.

Group 2 Register between 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm.

Come to the SDSU Game field on the Sports Deck (on top of Parking Structure 7). 

 

Directions

SDSU is easily accessible from the Interstate 8 Freeway. From the 805, go east on I-8 and exit Mission Gorge / Fairmount. Veer right on Fairmount South. Take Montezuma East and follow that up the hill. Turn left on 55th and turn left at the first light into Parking Structure 7.  The turf field is located at the bottom of the stairs.

Meals 

We will not provide meals at the camp, but you will have time to eat after your Saturday session if you are in the first group, or before the session if you are in the second group.  You should also eat between your two games on Sunday.

 

Accommodations 

If your are coming from out of town, we suggest the Hotel Circle area for your housing needs, as there is a vast number of hotels you can choose from and they are conveniently located about 10 minutes from campus. If you let them know you are coming to visit SDSU a lot of them will give preferred rates as well.

 

Miscellaneous Information

 

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel, please do so as early as possible so that we can notify those on the waiting list. If you cancel and do so prior to June 8th, 2018, you will receive a refund less a $75.00 administrative fee. If you cancel between June 9th  , 2018 and July 6th, 2018, you will receive a refund less a $125.00 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for any reason once camp has commenced on July 7th, 2018.

 

We will have an athletic trainer at camp the entire time. Drugs, Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products are strictly forbidden and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for immediate dismissal from camp without a refund.

Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, since this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

Description

We are excited to announce that registration for our Summer Youth Camp for Girls is now open.

 

Training sessions will be led by our associate head coach and assistant coach and SDSU soccer players on our current roster will also assist and help teach the soccer skills to the campers.

 

Camp is open to any and all girls Entering 1st-8th Grade in the 2017-2018 School Year and we will focus on individual work on the ball to develop technically, small-sided games to learn tactical concepts as well as other fun soccer-based games. Our goal is to teach skills and new concepts and to help ignite a passion for the game in our camp participants.

Team Discount Available
