The MU developmental program is a one day per week program designed to help participants, ages 6-12, improve their competitive skills. Participants will learn swimming stroke techniques, turning techniques, and starting techniques in small groups taught by experienced swimming instructors. The Coach to swimmer ration will be 1:8 and swimmers will be grouped based off age and ability.

Head Coach, Michael Clark
The Marymount University Swim Camp is directed by Marymount University Head Swimming Coach Michael Clark, an ASCA Level 4 certified coach. Coach Clark is entering his 23nd year as the Head Men's and Women's Swimming Coach at Marymount University. Under his guidance, Marymount swimmers have won numerous conference championships. Coach Clark has been recognized as Conference Coach of the year four times. Additionally, Coach Clark has coached for several USS teams, and is currently as the Head Coach of the Clark Swim Club, as well as summer league teams from the NVSL, DCCL, and the CCSDA. A national qualifier in the breaststroke, Mike is widely recognized for his understanding of stroke technique and his ability to work with children of all ages and abilities.
The swimmers are coached by coaching staff at Marymount University as well as members of the Marymount University Men's and Women's Swim Team. All the coaches have college swimming experience as well as summer league coaching experience.
Facility: The Swim Camp meets at the Rose Bente Lee Center Swimming Pool on the main campus of Marymount University. The pool is a 25 yard indoor heated pool, with locker room facilities.
Parents may remain in the pool area and watch from the spectator seating area.
We reserve the option to cancel that camp if less than 10 participants are registered.

Marymount Swim School
The Marymount University Swim School is designed to teach children ages 3-9 years old appropriate swimming skills in a positive and enthusiastic environment. Small groups ensure significant individual attention. The Swim School sessions are 5 weeks long, beginning mid- September and ending mid -June. All classes are held on Saturday mornings.
Clark Swim Club
The Clark Swim Club is a member of USA-Swimming, providing year round competitive swimming opportunities to children ranging ages from 6-18, skill levels range from novice swimmer to national level competitor.
