The Roberts Wesleyan College outdoor stadium includes a full size 120 x 75 soccer field, mondo Olympic style track, and a 1,200-seat stadium. The stadium is located in the heart of the RWC campus and host many night games each season under the 90'Hummel lighting system. read more
Coach Scott Reber begins his 2nd season as Head Coach for the RWC Mens Soccer Program this year. Last season, Reber guided the Redhawks to a 10-7-2 overall record and 5-4-1 mark in the East Coast Conference. While narrowly missing the conference post-season tournament, they did play in the NCCAA Regional Tournament and lost in the finals. The Redhawks never lost by more than 1 goal in regular season play and were ranked 19th in the nation for total number of goals in NCAA D2.
A 1986 graduate of Roberts, Reber played for RWC and was a member of the 1985 East Region Division 1 NCCAA Championship Team and the 1985 team that qualified for and competed in the NCCAA National Soccer Championship. He won many honors as a player and was named to the NAIA District All Star Team.
Prior to being named Head Coach, Reber was an assistant for the 2002-2004 and the 2011-2014 seasons. During those six years, RWC was ranked in the NAIA Top 25, went to the NCCAA National Tournament 4 years (taking second place in the 2002), made an appearance in the NAIA National Tournament, and won the American Mideast Conference (AMC) Tournament title in 2011.
Coach Reber brings 20 years of coaching experience to Roberts and has found success at every level. He also served as President of the Hilton Youth Soccer program and as Director of Coach and Player Development for the Hilton Soccer Club. Reber holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and the NSCAA National Youth Diploma. He is leaving a long career at IBM to pursue fulltime coaching.
Scott currently resides in North Chili with his wife, Karen, and they have 3 grown children.
Coach Peter Mastrogiovanni returns to Roberts for an nineth season as the Goalkeeper/Assistant Coach. A teammate of Coach Reber and 1986 graduate of Roberts Wesleyan, Coach Mastrogiovanni was a member of the 1985 East Region Division 1 NCCAA Championship Team and the 1985 team that qualified for and competed in the NCCAA National Soccer Championship in Longview, Texas. As a player, he received Athlete of the Month and Mens Soccer Most Valuable Player honors.
Coach Mastrogiovanni holds the NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma, NSCAA Advanced Goalkeeping Diploma, USSF National “C” License, English FA Psychology of Football Diploma and NSCAA National Youth Diploma.
During his tenure, the RWC Mens Goalkeepers have been honored as NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week, American Mideast All-Conference Team Selection, American Mideast Conference Defensive Player of the Week, NCCAA All-American and NCCAA Player of the Year.
Coach Mastrogiovanni holds a B.S Education and B.A. Psychology from Roberts Wesleyan as well as a Masters Degree from SUNY Brockport.
