For questions regarding camp, please contact Shana Kent at skent@olemiss.edu or 662-915-7809.

Hosted by Ole Miss men’s and women’s coaches, the Ole Miss Summer Golf Camps are co-ed day camps open to male and female junior golfers of all skill levels. Space is limited to the first 50 registrants to sign up for each camp, and campers learn and build on the fundamentals of the game in a safe, fun and stimulating environment. Camps include lunch and snack breaks each day, and each camper receives a camp T-shirt and water bottle.

Chris Malloy, Men’s Head Coach

Through four seasons as head coach, former Rebel standout golfer Chris Malloy has led his alma mater back to national prominence with six tournament titles as a team and 13 wins by individual Rebels. Under Malloy’s tutelage, Braden Thornberry became the first national champion in Ole Miss Golf history, has been named the recipient of the McCormack Medal (the pinnacle of amateur golf awards), earned the 2017 Fred Haskins Award (nation’s most outstanding collegiate golfer), and made his first PGA Tour debut as an Ole Miss Rebel.

Kyle Ellis, Men’s Assistant Coach

In his fifth season as assistant men’s golf coach at Ole Miss, former Rebel Kyle Ellis still remains ranked seventh all-time in Ole Miss golf history. Alongside Malloy, Ellis has played a big role in the record-breaking performances by the Rebels during his tenure.

Kory Henkes, Women’s Head Coach

Completing her fourth season at the helm, Kory Henkes’ Ole Miss women’s golf program has set new school records and continue a remarkable climb to the top. In Year 3, the Rebels had the best season the program has ever seen, and Ole Miss reached a new height in the women’s golf record books when they secured the first NCAA Championship berth in program history.

Zack Byrd, Women’s Assistant Coach

In his first season as assistant women’s golf coach, Zack Byrd has spent the last 10 years as a professional golfer, most recently playing on the Sunshine Tour in South Africa. On the tour, he posted a 70.98 stroke average with seven top-20 finishes, three top-10s, and earned the tour’s title of Rookie of the Year, where he gained full status for the 2018 season, finishing 44th on the money list while making the cut at the 2018 BMW SA Open.
