Potteiger Soccer Academy


The Potteiger Soccer Academy with its programs held at Lee University is dedicated to providing a soccer experience that is a combination of instructional and fun, all in a safe and positive atmosphere.

The coaching staff here at Lee University prides itself on teaching the game of soccer to players of all ages and ability levels. All camps are taught by our coaching staff and players. The mechanics and drills that are taught at our camps are used with our players. We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers.

Lee Soccer Winter ID Camp

Ages 10th Grade and Up in HS and Released Collegiate Transfers



The Lee Winter ID Camp is designed for players currently in Grades 10th and up in High School and Released Collegiate Transfers who have an interest in high quality training and competition and are particularly interested in playing for the Lee University Mens Soccer team.


There will be 3 training sessions for the weekend: Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening, and Sunday morning.


Goalkeeper Training : There will be specific GK as part of the ID camp at each session. The spaces are quite limited for GKs and will be on a first come, first serve basis. 


Check-In: Check-In will be held at the Lee Soccer Complex from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Lee Soccer Complex is located on the corner of Parker & 8th Street, Cleveland, TN.


Housing: Housing is NOT provided at the camp, though a shuttle will be available to and from our partner hotel: Holiday Inn Express Cleveland


Meals: Only dinner Saturday evening will be provided. Please us know immediately if you have food allergies: dpotteiger@leeuniversity.edu


What to Bring

A water bottle to take to field sessions. We provide water, but not cups.

Footwear: Molded cleats and indoor shoes (in the case of inclement weather)

A soccer ball clearly marked with your name.


Athletic Training

There will be a Certified Athletic Trainer present at all times at the camp. The trainer will be available to meet with you Saturday afternoon at Registration if you have any questions or preexisting injuries.


Waiver Information: All campers are required to complete the camp waiver form and remit ahead of time.  This will be emailed our several weeks prior to camp. 


What if I have to cancel a camp? 
There is a non-refundable $25 fee for the camp.

If you cancel more than 2 weeks out (14 days) you will receive a full refund (minus the $25)

If you cancel within 2 weeks of the camp, no refund will be issued except in the case of an serious injury that keeps you from participating (Doctor confirmation needed).


Can I print off a Registration Form and pay with a check?
Yes. If you are not interested in taking advantage of the convenience of online registration, you can print off a hard copy of the registration form and mail it in.

Please email dpotteiger@leeuniversity.edu for a paper form.

The check should be made payable to Potteiger Soccer Academy with the campers name in the memo.

Forms should be mailed to Lee Mens Soccer Camp, 1120 North Ocoee St, Cleveland, TN 37320.
