Jeff Jones Basketball Camps in beautiful Norfolk, Virginia are dedicated to providing a basketball camp that is both instructional and informational along with creating a great atmosphere to learn!

The coaching staff here at Old Dominion prides itself on teaching the game of basketball to players of all ages and ability levels. All camps are taught by our coaching staff and players. The mechanics and drills that are taught at our camps are used with our college players. We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers.

All campers need to fill out & bring waiver to camp check in to be able to participate.

Our camps range in age and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Jeff Jones Basketball Team Camp

Description

The Jeff Jones Team Camp at Old Dominion will consist of many talented teams.

 

Each team will be guaranteed six games. Teams will play one game Friday evening, three games on Saturday, and one game Sunday morning. Games consist of two 20 minute halves. This competitive weekend will conclude with a single game elimination tournament, beginning after the Sunday morning session. Every team will play in the tournament.
 
 

The Team Camp experience will provide an excellent opportunity for coaches and teams to get an early start on the upcoming season, and work on your offensive and defensive philosophies.

 

The Old Dominion Staff will be on hand at all times for consultation, discussion, and x-and-o-ing. Games will be officiated by area referees who will be involved in an official's clinic throughout the weekend.

 

There are a limited number of team spaces available so register early for this exciting weekend of high school hoops!!!

Basketball Sneakers

Athletic wear (shorts, shirts, socks, etc.)

Check In: 4:00 p.m. at the Jim Jarrett Athletic Administration Building on ODU's Campus.

 

Waiver Information

Medical forms will be attached to your e-mailed receipt and are available on-line. Please print, fill out and bring a separate form for each player to camp. Download Waiver Form

 

Meals

No meals will be provided by the ODU Team Camp.

What if I have to cancel a camp?
We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel. If you do not purchase cancel protection and need to cancel a 50% camp registration fee penalty would apply.

Description

The Jeff Jones Day Camp at Old Dominion will help players learn ways to develop the fundamental skills needed to play the game.

 

Campers will have daily interaction with Old Dominion's Basketball Coaching Staff and players. This camp will allow your child to meet new friends while having an exciting time playing the game in which they love.

 

Our goal is for each camper to become a better basketball player by teaching them ways to improve their fundamentals, and teach them how to play and interact with others in a fun and enjoyable environment.

The Jeff Jones Basketball Elite Camp is for the advanced and serious-minded high school player looking for a dynamic series of position-specific drill sets designed to challenge different skill levels and give players an opportunity to develop increased fundamental abilities in all areas of the game.

 

Coach Jones and staff teach advanced progression skill stations where campers will be challenged with drills, competitions, and highly competitive scrimmages. The Jeff Jones Elite Camp is designed to prepare student-athletes the reality of their dream of competing at the division 1 collegiate level and beyond.
