Who runs The Tiger Football Camp?

All OXY Football Camp Sessions are run by the Occidental College Football coaching staff. All campers will receive one on one instruction from OXYs respective position coach.

Where is the Tiger Football Camp held?

All camp sessions are held in Kemp Stadium, the oldest football stadium in the city of Los Angeles. The physical address for camp is 1600 Campus Road, Los Angeles, CA 90041

Can I make a deposit to pay for camp?

We do not take deposits for camps. Payment in full is due at the time of registration.

Can I register for more than one camp session?

High school athletes may not register for the youth camp or visa versa. There are two sessions of youth camps and two sessions of high school camps. The structure of the sessions will be the same but we do encourage you sign up for both sessions.

When does camp registration close?

Online registration for camp will close 48 hours prior to each camp session.

Does the Tiger Football Camp allow “walkup” registrants?

We do accept walkup registrants, but there is an additional administrative fee of $20.00 so it is encouraged to register online.

Is there a limit on the number of campers at each session?

Yes. One of our goals is to provide an atmosphere that is both instructional and competitive. In order to do so, we need to set a limit on the number of campers at each session. It is advised that you sign up for your session of choice as early as possible in order to guarantee yourself a slot.

How do I swap camp sessions if a conflict arises?

Refer to the “Contact Us” page on our website. The subject line of your e-mail should read “Session Change Request” and then let us know which session you are signed up for and then which session youd like to transfer to.

What do I need to bring to the camp?

All campers should bring cleats, sneakers, t-shirt, shorts, and sunscreen. QBs are encouraged to bring a football for warm-up purposes, but it is not required as we will be using OXY Footballs in all of our drill work.

Are parents allowed to watch camp?

Yes. We encourage parents to attend if convenient. Due to insurance reasons, it is mandatory that all non-participants at camp remain in the stands so that no needless accidents occur.

Will there be meals provided?

The high school camps will have a 1 Hour break for lunch in the middle of camp. The youth camps will have a pizza lunch at the conclusion of the camp. If you have a food allergy, please let us know.

What is the basic structure of a camp session?

Each session begins with a brief but comprehensive registration. For the high school camps, once registration is complete, we will have our practice. There will be two, 1.5 hour session with a break in between. After an hour break for lunch, we will resume with an afternoon practice which will consist of another two – 1 hour sessions with a break in between. For the youth camp, we will have a 2 hour practice followed by a light snack.

Will there be any free time during camp sessions?

Although there are breaks built into the day, there is not a substantial amount of free time. Therefore, we request that you remain within the confines of the athletic complex during the hours spanning each session.

Will camp sessions include a campus tour of OXYs campus?

For the high school sessions, there will be an optional campus tour at the conclusion of camp given by the admissions department.

Are there discounts if more than 1 camper from a family or from a team register together?

Unfortunately, NCAA regulations disallow us from being able to provide a discount to any camper.

Will there be medical staff on site?

Yes. Fully qualified medical personnel will be on site. In the event of a more serious injury, there are major hospitals located within 5 miles of the school as well as a health center on campus.

What is the refund policy of the Tiger Football Camps?

Refund request date and refund amount: Before June 1st: $75, After June 1st: No refund available.

No refunds will be provided for campers who become injured, sick, have transportation issues, etc.

However, we will make every effort to accommodate campers who wish to transfer camp sessions in the event of unforeseen circumstances. To swap camp sessions, send us an e-mail with the subject line “Session Change Request” and then let us know which session you are signed up for and then which session youd like to transfer to.

How do I request a refund?

Send an e-mail to All refunds will be processed after June 30, 2014 at the conclusion of all camp sessions.

I am a long snapper or a kicker. Which session do I register for?

Please understand that we will not be hosting a Snappers or Kickers Camp, but we will accommodate you during one of our position camps. Sign up for an offensive or defensive position. You will go through drills at that position for the day and have an opportunity to work snapping and/or kicking with a OXY coach for a small portion of the day.

Where can I park?

Any OXY Parking Lots surrounding the Athletics/Alumni Center including the street. All parking is free.
