Warren Lipka

Head Coach

Warren Lipka is now in his eighth year as head soccer coach at Morehead State.


In his seven seasons, he has led the Eagles to a 64-62-20 record and has been named OVC Coach of the Year three times (2009, 2010, 2013). He led Morehead State to OVC Tournament Championships and a trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2010 and 2013. In 2009 and 2010, he directed the Eagles to OVC Regular Season Championships.


In 2009, his first year in Morehead, Lipka continued his string of success he had at University of Kentucky, leading the Eagles to a 5-0-3 OVC record and the programs first-ever league regular season title. For his efforts, he was named OVC Coach of the Year.


In 2010, the Eagles again went undefeated in OVC matches, won the regular season title and also won the tournament championship to advance to the NCAA Tournament.


Trip Rogers

Assistant Coach

Trip Rogers will be entering his first season with the Eagles Soccer Program. Coach Rogers comes to Morehead from Midway College where he was the Head Coach and prior to that he was the Assistant Mens Soccer Coach at Georgetown College.


Coach Rogers is well-known in the soccer community having coached at the high school and club levels. He has been a member of Kentucky Youth Soccers Olympic Development Staff as a Goal Keeper and Team Coach. Coach Rogers is also the Girls Director of Coaching at Bluegrass Soccer Club for ages 14 and under and the Co-Director of KeeperEdge Soccer Programs throughout the state of Kentucky.


Coach Rogers is married to Jill Rogers, a PhD candidate at the University of Kentucky, and they have one son.
