Saints Three-Peat as Conference Champions with Man-Down Golden Goal


Playing a man-down for most of the day, graduate midfielder Roberto Ortega Lopez (Cuenca, Spain) scored the golden goal in the 95th minute to lift the Limestone College men's soccer team to a third straight Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship with a 2-1 extra time win over Erskine College on Sunday, November 17 at Electric Supply Company Field. Directions to Limestone College

Limestone College is located in Gaffney, SC, just off Interstate 85, near the NC/SC border. For the easiest access to campus, use I-85 exit 92 and follow the signs to campus.

Turn right from 85 North, left from 85 South, on Floyd Baker Blvd for 2 miles.

After crossing the railroad tracks, at the next traffic light, turn right on Limestone Street for 3/10 of a mile.

After the second traffic light, take the next left on to College Drive, and follow College Drive for one mile to the stop sign at the front of campus.


For our Day Camps:
Take a right at this stop sign at the front of campus and go to the next four way stop at the corner of East ONeal and Griffith Street. Go straight and park in the Hamrick Park visitors parking lot on your right, just past the intersection, across from the back side parking lot of the Timken Gym.

For our ID Camps:
Take a left at the stop sign at the front of campus and continue on past the baseball field/tennis pavilion entrances. Take your next right onto Leadmine Street and park in the far parking lot passed the Campbell Field house, which will be on your right. Park in the back part of the lot, near the gated entrance to Saints Field and use that entrance to the registration area.
