Who Runs Camp?
Gordon College head coach, assistant coaches, current Gordon athletes, and other support staff.
Monday-Thursday | 9 AM-3 PM
Daily activities include skill work, drills, games/scrimmages, swim breaks, and lunch (provided).
Lunch is included in your camp tuition and will be provided each day. If your child has any food allergies, please notify camp staff so we can provide healthy options for your child.
We offer the opportunity for campers to bring cash for the “Camp Bank.” The camp bank ensures that campers do not lose money for the camp store as we keep a running tab of how much money each camper has. The camp store sells a variety of snacks, water, Gatorade, and basketball cards during the snack times listed on the schedule.

How are campers divided/grouped?
In general, campers are divided by age and not skill level. Though during the week coaches may make some minor adjustments based on skill level to help a players overall experience, understand that we cannot guarantee or know in advance the overall competitive level.
Can campers be paired with friends/teammates?
We are open to pairing requests if you identify the friends/teammates with whom your child would like to be grouped, but there are no guarantees those requests can definitely be met. If a request cant be met for some reason, there will be plenty of time throughout the day for campers to be with friends (playing sessions, swim time, lunch, snack breaks, etc.), even if theyre not on the same team.
All campers are required to have health insurance coverage and provide the College with recent medical reports. A report of a physical examination (complete with health history) conducted within the last 24 months as well as an immunization record completed by your doctor will need to be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the start of camp. Gordon does not require that a specific form be used, only that all information is submitted. Doctors will usually mail or fax these upon request.
All campers are required to have an Emergency Contact, Camper Release, and Epipen (if applicable) Form on file. These forms are available below and will also be attached to your confirmation email.
Registration/Drop-off and Pick-up
Registration will be held just inside the entrance of the Bennett Center on Monday morning. Please bring all required information (physical/immunization forms, emergency contact, camper release form, camp bank funds etc.). Check in at the registration table will be required on the first morning only, regardless of whether your balance is paid or not. If you daughter carpools to camp with another parent, she can check herself in.
Athletic Training/Medical Staff
Certified, full-time athletic trainers and student trainers provide immediate treatment to campers in need. Trained EMTs are available on campus and local hospitals are easily accessible if necessary. If your child has a pre-existing medical condition, requires medication, or carries emergency medication such as an Epipen, please notify the camp director and/or the medical staff. If your child carries an Epipen, you are required to submit a Permission to Administer Epipen Form which is included in the Camp Waiver Forms download above.
Do you offer Discounts?
Yes! We offer a Gordon College Employee Discount, Sibling Discount, and Multi-Week Discount. If you are a Gordon College employee, have sibling children wishing to register for camps, or have a child wishing to attend the same camp for multiple weeks, please email the camp director requesting the promotional codes that can be used with online registration.
What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called “Cancellation Protection.” We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
Can I print off a Registration Form and pay with a check?
Yes. If you are not interested in taking advantage of the convenience of online registration, you can print off a hard copy of the registration form and mail it in. The check should be made payable to Gordon College Summer Camps with the sport name in the memo. Forms should be mailed to Gordon College Summer Camps, 255 Grapevine Rd, Wenham, MA 01984.
All correspondence for camp is handled through email so please provide your most relevant email address when registering. We do not share this information with anyone. Additional information and camp updates will take place more often as the start of camp approaches, so please check your email regularly.
Massachusetts requires that every camp provide a copy of their background check, health care, discipline, and grievance policies to any parent or guardian upon request. If you would like a copy or have a question not covered above, please contact us at 978.867.4338 so that we may better assist you.
This camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the local board of health.
