The Fighting Scots Girls' Basketball Camp is aimed at teaching campers about the game of basketball including rules and regulations as well as tips and techniques--all within a framework of Fun! Campers will be grouped according to age level and ability so that everyone feels comfortable on the court. A typical day of camp will include skill development stations, swim breaks, dribble knock-out, full court drills, lunch in Lane Student Center, afternoon 5 on 5 games, and much more! Our goals are to teach and encourage skill development while also providing a fun and exciting atmosphere for our campers. Our staff of college athletes and coaches look forward to basketball camp each summer and truly engage in our goals which keep campers coming back year after year.
Staff: Gordon College head coach, assistant coaches, current Gordon athletes, and other support staff.
Daily activities include skill work, drills, games/scrimmages, swim breaks, and lunch (provided).
What to bring: Basketball shoes, appropriate basketball attire, swimsuit, towel, water bottle, raincoat, money for camp store

Massachusetts requires that every camp provide a copy of their background check, health care, discipline, and grievance policies to any parent or guardian upon request. If you would like a copy or have a question not covered above, please contact us at 978.867.4338 so that we may better assist you.
Registration will be held just inside the entrance of the Bennett Center on Monday morning. Please bring all required information (physical/immunization forms, emergency contact, camper release form, camp bank funds etc.). Check in at the registration table will be required on the first morning only, regardless of whether your balance is paid or not. If you daughter carpools to camp with another parent, she can check herself in.
Camp Waiver Information
All campers are required to have health insurance coverage and provide the College with recent medical reports. A report of a physical examination (complete with health history) conducted within the last 18 months as well as an immunization record completed by your doctor will need to be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the start of camp. Gordon does not require that a specific form be used, only that all information is submitted. Doctors will usually mail or fax these upon request.
Camp medical advising and oversight is provided by Gordon Athletics team physician, Dr. Navid Mahooti MD, MPH, of the North Shore Medical Center (978-882-6700).
Lunch is included in your camp tuition and will be provided each day. If your child has any food allergies, please notify camp staff so we can provide healthy options for your child.
What if I have to cancel a camp?
Can I print off a Registration Form and pay with a check?
Yes. If you are not interested in taking advantage of the convenience of online registration, you can print off a hard copy of the registration form and mail it in. The check should be made payable to Gordon College Summer Camps with the sport name in the memo. Forms should be mailed to Gordon College Summer Camps, 255 Grapevine Rd, Wenham, MA 01984.
