2018 Gordon College Mens Soccer ID Clinic

06/08/2018 - 06/09/2018 ~ Friday - Saturday Registration Ends: 06/07/2018$205.00 | Gordon College-Grass Quad 255 Grapevine Rd, Wenham, MA 01984

The Gordon College Elite ID Clinic is designed to be a high-level ID clinic with two purposes. First and foremost, the clinic is meant to provide boys entering grades 9 through 12 with the opportunity to train and receive high level instruction from the Gordon College Mens Soccer coaching staff. Second, the staff aim to use this ID clinic to help identify and evaluate future prospects for our soccer program. Players will also have the opportunity to tour campus and learn more about what Gordon Colleges academic offerings.

Staff: Gordon College staff, former staff, and alumni will be running the sessions.

Training: Our goal is to challenge each player to play the game with an efficient and effective technical and tactical excellence that mirrors the Gordon Standard of Play. We will use our training sessions and matches to help players refine the tools we believe are necessary for competition at the collegiate level. Participants will be assigned to a team and will train and play 11v11 with that group the entire clinic.

Goalkeeper Training: We offer an excellent goalkeeper training section as part of our Elite ID Clinic They train exclusively as goalkeepers for the training sessions and then are assigned a field for the matches

Evaluation: Each player will receive an assessment filled out by his Gordon clinic coach that evaluates the player's ability in the following areas: possession, technical ability, attacking, defending, and attitude.

Athletic Trainer

There will be a Certified Athletic Trainer present at all times at the clinic. The trainer will be available to meet with you Friday afternoon at Registration if you have any questions or per-existing injuries. Trained EMTs are available on campus and local hospitals are easily accessible if necessary. Please notify the coaching staff before June 8th if you have any pre-existing medical conditions requiring special care
