Why Eagle Swim Camps?

At Eagle Swim Camps we believe that swimming should be fun, educational and motivating. Anyone can attend a summer camp, but at our camp swimmers experience more than just stroke technique. We believe that summer camps should be about more than just looking at a black line and repeating drills. Summer camps are where young people learn incredible skills. Life skills, social skills, independent skills.

Our summer camps offer the opportunity to expand past the mundane back and forth in the pool. We offer the ability to interact with Olympic Gold Medalist! Our campers can ask them anything they want! Many campers will be surprised to find out that these very same champions went through the same struggles, challenges and experiences all swimmers have.

Swimming is the only sport in the world where your head in underwater for hours at a time. What do swimmers think about? How do they stay motivated during practice? Enter Sports Psychologist, Will Jonathan. Will works with the Champion, FGCU Womens Swimming and Diving team on their mental preparation. Major League Baseball Great, Yogi Berra, once said “(sports are) 90% mental, the other half is physical.” Our goal is that after interacting with Will, our campers will have the tools to help embrace the mental side of swimming to achieve all of their goals!

Eagle Swim Camps are more than just swimming. At Eagle Swim Camps we equip our campers with the tools needed to reach and surpass all their goals, both in the pool and in life.
