Catholic University Field Hockey Clinics in Washington, D.C., are dedicated to providing a Field Hockey clinic that is both instructional and informational as well as a great atmosphere to learn!
The coaching staff here at CUA prides itself on teaching the sport to players of all ages and ability levels. All clinics are taught by our coaching staff, current players, and alumnae with at least a U.S. Field Hockey Level 1 Accreditation. The mechanics and drills that are taught at our clinics are used with our college players. We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers.
2014 was another outstanding season for the Cardinals. The team (16-4) matched its longest NCAA Tournament run finishing in the NCAA Elite Eight for a second year in a row. At the end of the season, the team held a No. 7 national ranking, a No. 2 regional ranking, earned its first NCAA Tournament at-large berth and made its fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. Numerous Cardinals received individual accolades including: five All-Landmark honorees, three All-Region selections, two All-American recipients and the Landmark Player of the Year and Coaching Staff of the Year. Off the field, 14 players were named to the conference academic honor roll and 18 of 23 achieved a grade point average above a 3.0.
