This day camp (9:00am until 12:00pm) is designed for boys of all abilities. Campers are grouped by age and skill level. Daily activities include instructional practices and games in a fun and challenging environment with emphasis on individual soccer technique, team-building, and sportsmanship values. Sac State's experienced staff are all positive role models with a contagious passion for the game.

Matt McDougall completed his 11h season as an assistant coach with the men's soccer program and was promoted to associate head coach 2015. A former three time Mountain Pacific Sports Federation honoree as a goalkeeper during his playing days with the Hornets, McDougall was promoted to the team's top assistant in 2009 after serving as the goalkeeper's coach the previous three seasons. He continues to work with the keepers. McDougall is also instrumental in recruiting and the day-to-day functions of the program, including film exchange and defensive coaching.
Equipment: Campers should bring a water bottle, a ball, shinguards, cleats and wear athletic attire and sunscreen to camp each day.
Extras: Each camper will receive a Sacramento State soccer t-shirt for their participation.
The camps will be held on the Sacramento State Intramural Fields with match play taking place on the Hornet Soccer Field on the campus of Sacramento State. All Sacramento State soccer camps are open to any and all entrants per NCAA rules and regulations but are limited as noted on the camp flyer by number, age, grade level and/or gender.
