Sacramento State Football Camps

Sacramento State Football Camps are dedicated to providing a Foootball Camp that is both instructional and informational along with creating a great atmosphere to learn!

The mechanics and drills that are taught at our camps are used with our college players. We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers.

The coaching staff here at the Sacramento State prides itself on teaching the game of Football to players of all ages and ability levels.

  2. Position specific coaching by the Sac State staff to start the day (8:30-8:50)
  3. Rules of the game and field assignments (8:50-9:00)
  4. Pool Play (9:00-Noon)
    1. All teams will be guaranteed 4 games in pool play
  5. Lunch (Noon-1:00)
  6. Tournament Play (1:00-4:00)
    1. Single game elimination

 

Cost is 300.00 per team

 

Equipment needed: Practice gear shorts, T-shirt, cleats, and football. Mouth guards if needed or required.

 

All Sacramento State camps are open to any and all entrants per NCAA rules, but are limited as noted on the following camp website by number, age, grade level and/or gender. Times and locations are subject to change.

 

Waiver Information 

Insurance: Sacramento State Athletics purchases secondary excess accidental medical coverage, in the amount of $25,000 for all individual camp participants. There is a deductible ($100) which shall be the parents responsibility. Teams must provide a certificate of insurance endorsed as follows: "The State of California, The Trustees of the California State University (CSU), California State University, Sacramento (CSUS), their officers, representatives, agents, employees and volunteers are additional insureds."

Description

The Skills Camp is designed for Prospective Student Athletes who have a desire to play college football. Each player will receive position specific coaching from our football staff here @ Sacramento State. Athletes will leave the camp with some tools they can apply to their craft that will benefit them in their upcoming football season.

 

Positions:

            QBs / WRs / TEs / O-Line

            Cornerbacks / Safeties / Linebackers / D-Line

  3. 1 on 1 (9:30-9:45)

Description

This is a competitive camp for all specialist looking to play college football. This is an opportunity for you to improve your fundamentals and showcase your skills to the Sacramento State Football Staff as well as other coaches from PAC-12 programs.

It is recommended that you leave any valuables at home. Sacramento State Camp and Clinics, LLC is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Sacramento State Camp and Clinics, LLC is not responsible for parking citations.

 

Location: All Sacramento State Football Camps will be held in Hornet Stadium. Campers will be able to go through the Broad Fieldhouse to register and start the tour.

 

Parking:  Parking is $6 per day on the Sac State camps. We are not responsible for parking citations. 

 

Watching Practice: Spectators are welcome at all sessions of camp. We ask that you sit in the stands.

 

Health, Safety and Insurance Information 

All participants must be covered by personal medical insurance. In addition to a parent/guardian waiver, we encourage that each camper submit a copy of their Fall 2019 Sports or School Physical. Every effort is made to protect the health and safety of each camper through our certified athletic training staff, supervised warm-up periods, constant inspection of equipment and responsible instruction. It is the responsibility of each camper to stay hydrated. Water will be available at all times. Description

All Sacramento State Camps are open to any and all entrants per NCAA Rules, but are limited as noted on the following camp flyer by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

 

The Rising Stars Camp is designed for high-caliber players who are in 9th grade through junior college and have the desire to play at the college level.

 

This camp will not only give students the opportunity to compete against other top-level players from the West Coast, it will provide them with one-on-one and team instruction from college coaches.

 

The campers will be educated on the college recruiting process, the NCAA and Sacramento State eligibility requirements, and what is necessary to compete at the college level. All instruction will come from members of the Sacramento State coaching staff.

 

Cost: $60.00 (Includes a camp t-shirt)
