I am thinking about registering my daughter for basketball camp and want to know which camp to register her for?
All of our skills camps are designed to challenge and develop all skill levels. Our Elite ID camp is designed for serious athletes that are looking to be challenged and be seen by the Palm Beach Atlantic coaching staff.
Since there are all different ages & skill levels, how will my daughter be grouped at your camp?
All campers will be grouped according to age and skill level.
What sort of structure/instruction will take place on a daily basis during the Elite Camp?
During Elite Camp, the morning session will focus on skill development, and the afternoon hours will feature various scrimmage sessions.
If my daughter is participating in the Skill or Elite Camp, can she be placed on a team with a friend or fellow teammate?
Yes, your daughter can be paired with a friend, just please make that request known to Coach Carlos Palacio and/or his staff at the start of camp.
If my daughter is just beginning to play basketball, which camp will be best for her?
The Sailfish Skills Camp is more appropriate for beginners, as it focuses on individual skill development and technique. There your daughter will receive more personalized instruction.
Can my daughter stay on campus for Skills or Elite Camp?
No, there is not a housing option offered during the Skills and Elite Camps on campus. We can assist in setting up hotels at discounted rates near the university.
What will my daughter need to wear/bring to camp?
All campers should wear shorts, t-shirts, & basketball shoes, basketball, notebook, jump rope and a water bottle.
Can parents come and watch during camp?
While all parents are welcome any day, we prefer that parents come on “Parent Day” which takes place on the last afternoon of the camp week.
