The Tiger Soccer Academy at Colorado College is dedicated to providing professional soccer instruction in a positive atmosphere that maximizes skill development.

The coaching staff here at Colorado College prides itself on teaching the game of soccer to players of all ages and ability levels. The mechanics and drills that are taught at our camps are used with our college players. We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers.

Description

This will be an intensive elite level 2-Day Player Identification (ID) Clinic. This camp is specifically designed for players interested in playing Division 1 soccer, but is open to any and all entrants in the appropriate grade level. All campers will have the opportunity to be coached by the Colorado College Coaching Staff.

 

This clinic is limited to the first 32 registrants.The 32 registrants being broken into 28 field players and 4 goalkeepers. Goalkeeper specific training will be provided.

 

Price includes- A- Tiger Soccer Academy t-shirt & a downloadable HD film of the 11v11 scrimmage that will be emailed to all campers 48 hours after camp.

 

***If weather becomes an issue we have reserved two indoor spaces in which to conduct the clinic. If we do go indoors we will run the same sessions, but would hold a futsal tournament instead of a 6v6 games. Please bring non-marking court shoes in case we do have to go indoors & play futsal. ***

In order to register you will fill out a Waiver form. It will be attached to your e-mailed receipt and is available on-line. Keep this on file.

  

Accommodations

This is not an overnight camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.

 

Miscellaneous Information

What if I have to cancel a camp? We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

Description

The focus of this camp will be on improving technical skills (passing, receiving, shooting, dribbling) in a fun environment. Each session will include small-sided games to promote and encourage proper technique in a fun positive environment. Participants will be coached by young female role models who will help in inspire a love for the game. The camp will be staffed by the Women's Soccer Coaching staff of Colorado College, plus current and former Colorado College Tiger soccer players.

Directions

Take I-25 to exit 143. Turn east (away from mountains) on Uintah Street, and proceed up the hill about a quarter mile to Cascade Avenue. Turn right (south) on Cascade to Cache La Poudre. Turn right (west) on Cache La Poudre and down the hill to the El Pomar Sports Center, third and final building on the right.

 

Parking Information 

Parking is on the street and very limited near the facility. Additional parking is available on Dale Street just to the south, or in the Monument Valley Park lot across the creek to the west. Access Washburn Field by walking north, past the El Pomar Sports Center on either side.
