Camp Description

All skill levels are welcome! Beginners to advanced- we have the coaches and the facilities to provide a great lacrosse experience to everyone. Each session will be broken down into 3 parts. 1 hour stick Skills and individual work, 1 hour unsettled/settled offense & defense and the final hour will be used to teach in game like situations.


Space is limited!!! The camp will sell out, so enroll early!


General Information

The Colorado College Lacrosse Camp will help players develop their core fundamental lacrosse skills. Using drills that focus on Stick Skills, Shooting and Dodging we will improve the campers overall performance. In addition to individual skills, team concepts of Offensive and Defensive techniques will be taught.


Work to become the complete attackman by developing your footwork and stickwork. Become the triple threat to dodge, feed and score. Understand the IQ it takes to dissect defenses and lead your offense.


Develop the ability to become the two way midfielder coach ' s desire. Progress into the physical dodger who can beat his man and see the field. Learn techniques that will help you win the face-off and become a dominant player between the lines.

Build on the fundamentals of footwork and body position by aggressively defending the defensive zone. Expand your ability to play defense, increase your sliding angles and be taught the right opportunities to throw those take -away checks.


Increase your ability to make the game -changing save. Be taught the skills to become a better stopper between the pipes and clear the ball with accuracy. Learn drills that you can use


All campers must provide their own equipment for the camp. Helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, stick AND mouthpiece are required for every session. There will be no exceptions to this policy. Players can wear molded or detachable cleats on Washburn Field. Each camper will be provided with a Colorado College Pinnie upon check in.


The Colorado College Lacrosse Camp will be held on historic Washburn Athletic Field. You will be playing on Colorado College's new Synthetic Grass Field located right behind El Pomar Athletic Complex.


In the event that weather forces us inside. We will continue to teach the Clinic in the gym and in classrooms until the weather clears for the day.


Camp Check-in

Check in will begin 30 minutes before the start of the first day of camp.

Take I-25 to exit 143. Turn east (away from mountains) on Uintah Street, and proceed up the hill about a quarter mile to Cascade Avenue. Turn right (south) on Cascade to Cache La Poudre. Turn right (west) on Cache La Poudre and down the hill to the El Pomar Sports Center, third and final building on the right.


Parking Information 

Parking is on the street and very limited near the facility. Additional parking is available on Dale Street just to the south, or in the Monument Valley Park lot across the creek to the west. Access Washburn Field by walking north, past the El Pomar Sports Center on either side.



This is not an overnight camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.

Pre-Register by May 1st to secure your spot! Refunds (less the $100 deposit) will be issued in the event of a personal emergency.
