Men's soccer players sharpen skills in summer

Merchant receives Scholar All-America Honors
Bates College senior Nate Merchant, already the recipient of a litany of postseason honors for his senior season on the Bates men's soccer team, was recognized for his academic excellence as well on Friday, as he was named a Second Team forward on the United Soccer Coaches' NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-America Teams.

Bobcat Men’s Soccer Camps provide tactical and technical instruction in a positive atmosphere to maximize development for players.
Campers learn from a dedicated and professional camp staff led by Bates College coaches. We pride ourselves on teaching soccer to players of all ages and ability levels from Youth Summer Camps and Clinics to Elite College ID Camps.
We offer a variety of camps throughout the year to players and ages of all levels, but if you do not see a camp that fits your need please check back as we add camps and clinics.

Bates College Men's Soccer is proud to announce our 2018 Fall 1 Day Clinic. This camp is for prospective male college players (High School grades 10-12) looking for an education and soccer experience. At the camp players will be offered technical sessions with a focus on skill development, and small sided game scenarios. The sessions will take place in an indoor environment. The clinic will allow players to work with the Bates college staff, and will include a classroom session that gives inside information on the recruiting process at Bates and other schools.

What to bring: A camp ball and t-shirt will be provided. Players should bring cleats, shin guards, socks and shorts. Goalkeepers should bring their own gloves. Option to bring lunch or buy on campus at further cost.

Check-in and arrive begins at 9:30am. This will give players plenty of time to be ready for a prompt 10:00am start.
