Who runs the Basketball Academy at Harvard?
The Basketball Academy at Harvard is run by the Harvard Mens Basketball coaching staff, led by head coach Tommy Amaker. All campers have the opportunity to receive instruction from the Harvard Mens Basketball staff. Additionally, our Academy staff consists of high school and Division II and III college coaches.
When does the Basketball Academy at Harvard actually start?
Academy Check-in/Move-In will typically occur in Lavietes Pavilion from 10:30am-12:00pm on Saturday. Our first camp activity begins at 12:30pm

The Basketball Academy at Harvard is held in the Harvard University athletic complex and on the campus of the Harvard Business School. Specifically, Lavietes Pavilion serves as the central location for our Basketball Academy. The physical address for camp is 65 North Harvard Street, Boston, MA 02163.
Does the Basketball Academy at Harvard allow “mail-in” and “walk-up” registrants?
We do accept both mail-in and walk-up registrants.

When does online camp registration close?
Online registration typically closes on the Friday before begins at 12:00pm EST.
What do I need to bring to the camp?
All campers should bring basketball attire, basketball shoes, and personal toiletry items. For overnight campers, all dorm rooms are air-conditioned, with pillows, sheets, and towels provided.
Are parents allowed to watch camp?
Yes. We encourage parents to attend if convenient.
Will there be meals provided?
All campers – both overnight and commuter campers – will receive two (2) meals: dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Only campers and camp staff are permitted to enter the dining hall.
Does the Basketball Academy at Harvard include a tour of Harvards campus?
Due to NCAA rules, we are not permitted to give a campus tour as a part of The Basketball Academy at Harvard. Our admissions office does offer daily information sessions and campus tours.The office can be contacted at (617) 495-1551.
Is there a shuttle service available to and from Logan Airport?
No, campers are required to provide their own transportation to/from the Harvard campus.
What is the refund policy of the Basketball Academy at Harvard?
The first $150.00 paid towards camp registration is a non-refundable deposit. Any amount paid beyond this deposit is fully refundable (excluding the service fee), provided the cancellation occurs prior to the start of camp. Campers wishing to cancel their registration should contact us in writing at email@example.com.
Can someone other than a parent/guardian be authorized to pick up a camper?
We require information to be provided as a part of the registration process for two additional persons who are authorized to pick up or drop off each camper. If anyone other than those authorized persons is going to pick up a camper, we ask parents to contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Should anyone besides those authorized persons request to transport a camper, our staff will contact the parent/guardian before allowing the camper to leave.
