The 2017 season marked the 23rd year of Averett University volleyball under the guidance of Danny Miller. He has also won seven conference tournament titles and 13 regular season crowns, including the 2017 USA South Conference East Division championship, the program’s third in a row.

Entering the 2018 season, Averett rides a 41-match winning streak against conference opponents during the regular season.
