Luke Perry

Head Coach

Luke Perry enters his second season as head coach of the mens soccer team in 2016.

In his first year at the helm the team struggled to find its stride finishing 4-8-5 and missing the playoffs. Perry secured his first victory as a head coach during a 1-0 double-overtime win against Mercy College on a goal from freshman Alejandro Alvarez in the 103rd minute. Perry coached three All-Conference selections during his first season as head coach.

Perry spent two seasons under former head coach Fred Balbino as a graduate assistant coach. With Perry patrolling the sidelines, the Yellow Jackets amassed a record of 15-17-3 and earned a trip to the Northeast-10 postseason in 2014.

Julian Myers

Assistant Coach

Julian Myers has spent two seasons as an assistant coach for the American International College mens soccer team. During the 2016 season, Myers helped lead the Yellow Jackets to their sixth postseason appearance and second-best conference record in program history.

Myers joined the AIC staff in 2015 after a professional career with Seattle Impact FC and the Rochester Lancers of the Major Arena Soccer League, and Lansing United of the National Premier Soccer League, where his team won the Great Lakes Midwest Conference in 2014 and was an NPSL national semifinalist.

Additionally, Myers coaching resume includes experience with Michigan Rush Soccer Club, ICFDS Brazilian Soccer school, Pachuca FC USA, Everson Soccer Academy, FC CASA, South Central Premier Pre-Academy and Brazil CT. Myers also offers personal training for high school, collegiate and professional players.
