The coaching staff at AIC is dedicated to the development and growth of soccer players of all ages and skill levels. We are committed to providing a positive and instrumental learning experience for all camps.

Description

The purpose of this camp is to provide athletes with an inside look to an elite training environment focusing on the four corners of soccer (technical, tactical, psychological and social). The camp will take an in-depth look at professional & collegiate environment providing players the essential tools to develop into a strong, intelligent and dynamic player for the modern game.

 

 Head Coach Luke Perry is bringing his LPA Elite Camp to AIC to provide players a complete insight into the life of a professional and/or collegiate soccer player. AICs Coaching staff, Julian Myers and Mario Monsalve will be joining the camp to give their professional input alongside several of the current Yellow Jacket squad whom will give an insight view of what it takes to become a collegiate soccer player.

 

Each player will receive 2 camp t-shirts

 

 The camp will take place over the course of a week and will consist of:

      Daily training session- aimed at the development and enhancement of technical ability; testing and evolving different concepts within the game of soccer; and developing composed play under pressure.

      Soccer Specific Strength & Conditioning- aimed to bust old myths about S&C and to teach players how to prepare to be a soccer player. Soccer fitness is different than any other type of fitness and it is vital you develop and focus on the right concepts.

      Tournament style games- We will be hosting a variety of games whether 5 v 5, 8 v 8 or 11 v 11 each day to put into action learned concepts from the training session. These games will be filmed and provided online for players to use for recruiting video purposes.

 Prizes to be won throughout the camp. Athletic Trainer will be on site for all sessions. Strength and Conditioning session will be conducted by AICs S & C staff who are certified instructors.

Take I-91 into Springfield to the Route 291 East exit. Follow Route 291 East to Exit 5B. Turn right onto Route 20A West. At the end of the ramp get into the left hand lane. At the traffic light turn left onto Roosevelt Avenue. Proceed along Roosevelt for approximately two miles, then turn right onto Roosevelt Terrace, bear left at the split and then turn left onto Cortland Street. AIC Park, Abdow Field, Butova Gymnasium and Groff Field will be on your left. AIC Tennis Courts, John G. Hoyt Track & Field Complex and MassMutual Soccer Field will be on your right.

 

From East or West
Follow I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) to exit 6. After the toll booth, turn left onto Route 291 West. Take exit 5B (Route 20A West) bearing to the right. Proceed as noted above.

Refund Policy: You will receive a credit for the next available camp session, minus a $35.00 processing fee. All refund requests must be made in writing 1 week prior to the camps start date.

Description

The purpose of this camp is to provide teach the FUNdamentals of soccer in an exciting and enjoyable environment.

 

This camp is designed to teach soccer in a fun and exciting environment. Kids can master new soccer skills and learn some really-cool tricks to use in games and showcase to their family and friends. Each day will consist of some technical skills, fun and enjoyable games, and a small-sided tournament! On Friday we will have a World Cup Tournament followed by a ceremony where each player will receive  a participation certificate and we will also give out special awards to certain players too!! A great fun-filled pack week of soccer for the kidsand hassle free inexpensive childcare of parents. WIN-WIN All AROUND!

 

Lunch and Snacks not provided but can be purchased from concessions that will be available. Each child will receive 2 t-shirts for the camp. Special Guest, AICs Mascot REX will be there! World Cup tournament and prize ceremony on Friday.
